Spacewalk

Never black, the world behind my eyelids
shames space telescopes on acid.

Electric silhouettes swoop,
Amazon parrots squawking
through jungle trees
filled with hidden monkeys.

Heartbeats brighten blood vessels,
nebulas of tie-dye
in my chaos of shrouded sight.

pulse
pulse
pulse

amebae on a petri dish,
floating jellyfish pulsing
with every squeeze.

Sometimes I forget to breath
in the vibrance
of my silent galaxy.
